Details: SUMMARY: OERS call to report unknown substance on river DETAILS: Received call from Brian Mahoney, Public Health Duty Officer who was called by David Waltz (541-687-7345) with the Department of Enivornmental Quality regarding a reddish-brown substance on the Yaquina River near the City of Toledo. Notified Casey Lyon in Springfield office. No surface water intakes are located downstream. ACTION NEEDED: No further action needed.
