| Details: | SUMMARY: Water Supply Determined to be Ground Water DETAILS: The Drinking Water Program has determined that the new Byrum Gulch Infiltration Collector is not as risk to microbial surface water contamination, and is therefore classified as groundwater. This determination is based on the results of Microscopic Particulate Analyses (MPAs), and Source Water Assessment criteria that indicate the water source has a very low susceptibility to contamination by the parasites giardia and cryptosporidium. ACTION NEEDED: Burnett completed letter of notification May 4, 2004. The Department to issue a formal letter indicating that compliance has been achieved with the Administrative Order issued April 10, 2001. | ||
