| Details: | SUMMARY: HAA5 Alert DETAILS: I received an alert for an HAA5 result of 0.082 mg/l for a sample taken 5-20-10. System is under a compliance schedule to cover two uncovered reservoirs, which have been identified as contributing factors to the elevated DBP levels. System has been taking additional samples to determine the effectiveness of the reservoir covers (1 is currently in place over reservoir 3) and initial results indicate improvements to the finished water quality and reduced chlorine demand. ACTION NEEDED: System is to continue on schedule with covering reservoir 2 and monitoring to evaluate results. At this time, the running annual average DBP MCL has not been exceeded, therefore, the system just needs to continue quarterly monitoring and report the elevated results in the CY 2010 CCR. | ||
