| Details: | SUMMARY: Complaint Response DETAILS: 6/14 - Received message that the upper cistern was out of water and the warning light did not come on. 6/21 - Spoke with Eileen regarding water outage. She observed the paper in the chart pressure recorder had not been replaced and was writing over itself. 6/29 - Received fax of price quotes for a new well pump. Spoke with Mike Umbarger. The three year old 15 hp well pump was only running at 17 gpm instead of the expected 50 gpm and is being replaced with a 20 hp pump based on his engineers recommendation. The light bulb outside the upper cistern had burned out and was replaced. The valve on the line going to the lower cistern is choked down in order to send more water to the upper cistern. I advised Mike that the chart paper for the pressure recorder needed to be replaced on a regular basis. 7/7 - Spoke with Eileen. Advised her of the pending pump replacement that should help keep the upper cistern filled. ACTION NEEDED: PWS to replace well pump, monitor pressure at upper cistern. | ||
