| Details: | SUMMARY: Alert-fecal coliform confirmed in distribution- coil water notice posted DETAILS: Shelley Hunt called7/5/10 to report fecal coliform was detected in one of four samples taken 7/2/10. The samples were mistakenly taken from the wrong PWS, intended to be repeats for the Nines pws # 95233. I advised her to take three additional samples since they discovered a water quality problem. The three samples confirmed fecal coliform (from the same hose bib faucet as the original samples collected 7/2/10) as well as a total coliform present taken from the pro-shop faucet. The source was absent both times it was sampled. A boil water notice was posted today and the water system will be shocking the system asap. ACTION NEEDED: Post boil water notice, corrective action now required and five additional routines will be collected in August. | ||
