Details: SUMMARY: Water level in well continuing to drop, water supply reaching critical levels DETAILS: The water level in the well during pumping is now at 508 feet and the pump is set at 636 feet, therefore water is only ~50 feet above pump. The air line does not work now to measure depth to water so estimates have been made by the pump supplier. The city was advised by the pump supplier to shut the pump off when the pump rate drops to 250 gpm. Today the pump rate was 297 gpm. I advised Dan to contact the Mayor and City Council to immediatley implement water use restrictions on irrigation and non-essential uses. ACTION NEEDED: CITY TO IMMEDIATELY IMPLEMENT WATER USE RESTRICTIONS.
