| Details: | SUMMARY: Lead Control (Corrosion Control) DETAILS: The school is in the Eagle Point School District. The school has recorded levels of lead as high as 0.0386 mgl (Action Level for lead is 0.0155 mgl). The school source comes from a well. Currently the raw water is chlorinated and then distributed throughout the system. There is no corrosion control system currently being used by the school. The school contacted HBH for assistance with determining the proper course of action to reduce lead levels below the MCL. I visited the school and inspected the facility and gathered preliminary information on water quality. ACTION NEEDED: Provide report detailing the recommended action for the school based on the “Revised Guidance Manual for Selection Lead and Copper Control Strategies”. | ||
