| Details: | SUMMARY: Contact Tracer Study DETAILS: System owns and operates a domestic water system consisting of five springs and a large well that serves 147 active connections. The five springs feed into a single transmission line that discharges into an 11,000 gallon cistern. From here the water is chlorinated and pumped up the hill to two storage tanks with a combined storage of 185,000 gallons. From this point, the system is gravity red through 8 inch and 6 inch pipes. The well produces 150 gpm with 50 gpm going to treatment and 100 gpm getting bypassed. System has had positive coliform hits, including positives for E Coli. As the system currently chlorinates, it is necessary to perform a contact tracer study to determine if the system has enough contact time for 4-log inactivation of viruses. I performed the contact tracer study data collection, composed preliminary CT study for review by the County Health Department personnel. ACTION NEEDED: Finalize contact tracer study. | ||
