| Details: | SUMMARY: Techncal Assistance for Lead AL exceedance DETAILS: System has exceeded lead levels in most recent sampling round (2009). They requested HBH assistance. I met with Amy Parmenter, DWP, to discuss recommendations and action plan to address lead issue. System currently using caustic for pH adjustment, which may be the wrong chemical as alkalinity is low and Revised Guidance Manual recommends soda ash based on WQP and DIC results. ACTION NEEDED: Develop action plans for reducing lead level by recommending switching to soda ash as chemical treatment. Contact CH2M Hill-OMI with proposal. Request time extension. | ||
