| Details: | SUMMARY: Organics Detects at well #6 3rd Qtr 2010 DETAILS: Spoke to Derrick about recent sampling of EDB, PCE and TCE at well #6. EDB result of non-detect makes running annual average of last 4 results 0.011 ppb. Reliably and consistently below MCL of 0.05 ppb, so frequency reduced to annual during 4th quarter. TCE result of 0.52, makes running average of last 4 quarters of 0.57 ppb. Reliably and consistently below MCL of 5 ppb, so frequency reduced to annual during 1st quarter. PCE continues to hover right below MCL of 5 ppb, so stay on quarterly frequency. City plans to continue sampling well, even though off-line since December 2008, in case they plan to use well in future ACTION NEEDED: Continue to operate well in stand-by fashion. City to communicate to DWP if plan to use well, or cease monitoring as well will not be used at all in the future. | ||
