| Details: | SUMMARY: Compliance with SWTR DETAILS: Rose Lodge owns and operates two different systems, Boulder Creek and Bear Creek. Boulder Creek has 139 connections and is composed of an infiltration gallery, bag filters and two reservoirs. Recent bag filters were installed into the system, the additional head loss of the filters caused problems with the infiltration gallery pump. To keep up with system demands, the water system has disconnected regular use of the filters which meet the requirements of the SWTR. HBH was originally contacted by Mrs Walters for troubleshooting assistance with the existing system. A SDWSRF Letter of Interest was also completed. The ownership of the system has now reverted back to Bette Carter. The water system is currently under order to meet the compliance requirements. A corresponded with DWP staff regarding issues facing the system. I met with Ms Carter and Ms Doege regarding the possibility of obtaining financing assistance for the required improvements. I described the process that the water system must follow to obtain funding. I also reviewed the process for gaining plan review approval from DWP. I subsequently met with a representative from Quality Water Systems who has proposed solutions to meet the compliance requirements. I also corresponded with WWP staff regarding issues facing the system. ACTION NEEDED: Provide continued assistance as requested by the system and DWP | ||
