| Details: | SUMMARY: Compliance with Groundwater Rule DETAILS: The system has a domestic water system consisting of a single well serving 100 people through 46 connections. The well water is chlorinated and runs through a UV system that has not been approved for the inactivation of viruses. The system has positive coliform results in their source water. The well samples also tested positive for E Coli. The EPA Groundwater Rule mandates that corrective actions are taken to either fix the source or provide for 4 log-treatment of the viruses that would be associated with positive E coli results. I modified the recommendations report and provided information regarding construction of pressure restraints for underground pressure piping. ACTION NEEDED: None at this time. | ||
