Details:	SUMMARY: Discussed receipt of violation postcard DETAILS: The system received a violation for failing to sample for coliform in June. The system normally samples quarterly, but collected a total coliform positve sample in May. This triggered schedules for repeat samples, additional routine samples in June, and a triggered source water sample. David, the operator, reported that there was utility work taking place when he collected the original sample and he thought the sample should be invalidated. He said he had called Mark Edington, and dicussed invalidating the sample, but this was never done. David said he collected a replacement sample, but it was a source water sample he marked as special. I informed David that at this point it wasnt possible to replace the original samples that were missed, nor could we invalidate the original positive sample collected in May. ACTION NEEDED: I informed David that the system should collect their 3rd quarter routine sample.
