| Details: | SUMMARY: Assisted operator in collecting Routine coliform samples for August DETAILS: Amy Baker and Gary Burnett assisted Dan Marshall in collecting required 5 Routine samples for August. We worked to find good sample locations. Dan had placed 3 pounds of calcium hypochlorite powder in the 300,000 gallon reservoir on Friday July 30. Distribution residuals at some locations were 1.0 mg/l. On 8/4 a residual of 0.1 mg/l was measured at the Sumner residence. We discussed chlorination procedures with Cindy Sumner (541-989-8514) who had filed a damage claim due the City chlorination in October 2008. ACTION NEEDED: Five Routine samples were taken from distribution locations and one "special" was taken from a service line near the reservoir. All sample results were negative. City can take one Routine sample in September. | ||
