Details: SUMMARY: ALERT ID: CHEM4248---The quarterly nitrate sample collected on 06/03/10 had a level of 7.89 mg/1 (over one half of the MCL). DETAILS: 07/15/10---Sample result is above one half of the MCL-- the quarterly monitoring schedule will remain in place (as per DWP instructions to our staff in May, 2008). ACTION NEEDED: A third quarter 2010 nitrate sample needs to be collected no later than September 30, 2010.
