Details: SUMMARY: Routine total coliform sample positive date 07-14-10 DETAILS: Robert from Schneider Equipment contacted this office to find out what they need to sample for. I let him know that since the system has two sources that each source needs to be sampled. One of the source samples can count as a repeat while the other will be a trigger source sample. They also need to take three repeat distribution samples. They will need five samples total. I also let him know that they will need to take a five temp. routine samples in the distribution system for the month of August. He said that he understood. We discussed possible causes of the contamination. We also discussed the option of using residual maintenance chlorination if the intermittent source coliform positive samples continue. ACTION NEEDED: Monitor repeat samples and follow up if necessary.
