| Details: | SUMMARY: Repeat TC Positive Sample Follow Up DETAILS: Greg called. All three repeat samples collected from the distribution system tested present for total coliform. The source sample collected at well #1 tested absent, so it appears that the coliform issue is related to conditions in the distribution system. There was some work done on the float switches in the reservoir, which could have provided an opportunity for bacteria to enter the reservoir. Water use is high enough so that the reservoirs are turning over about once per day. Discussed options for flushing the system, or chlorinating the system for a couple days then resampling. ACTION NEEDED: PWS to distribute public notice, chlorinate system, collect five routine samples in September. | ||
