| Details: | SUMMARY: SNC investigation, monitoring DETAILS: Spoke with Vicki today who is the new president of London Water Co-op. I let her know enforcement will be necessary if monitoring of several contaminants is not completed soon. I let her know Lead and Copper, DBPs, VOCs, SOCs, and Nitrate are all past due and that civil penalties will be assessed if these are not sampled this year on time. She agreed to collect all necessary samples on time and was very appreciative of me calling to let her know. She is a new president and was unfamiliar with the drinking water rules and monitoring requirements. I guided her to our website so she can look up what samples are due when. This was all in a recent survey report dated 4/20/10 and addressed to her but she was unfamiliar with what it meant. Another WTP inspection is due in Sept 2010, I plan to visit site then to assess other non-compliance issues that were cited during the survey.. ACTION NEEDED: collect all required monitoring on time this year. | ||
