| Details: | SUMMARY: Attended board meeting with New Bridge/Richland DETAILS: Gary Burnett and Amy Baker attended a board meeting with New Bridge Water System on 8/5/10. Other parties involved were: City of Richland, Dave Wildman (Anderson-Perry), and Jake Salcone (RCAC). The meeting discussed the different aspects of water development for New Bridge. City of Richland, during a city council meeting on 8/12, voted to cooperate with New Bridge on a joint water project. The proposal is for the City of Richland to supply water to New Bridge Water District. New Bridge could still use their well as an emergency source. The water main for the City of Richland runs through New Bridge so its a matter of new piping/pumps and how Richland will bring them online - as a purchasing system or under the City of Richland. There are many types of funding available. The City of Richland qualified for a Community Block Grant that could be applied for again in 2012. Dave Wildman is working on a scope of work and fee estimate for the project. ACTION NEEDED: Keep DWP informed on progress with the project | ||
