| Details: | SUMMARY: CT Tracer Study DETAILS: The City owns and operates a surface water system that provides treated water for domestic purposes to a full time population of approximately 4,700 people, through 1,800 connections. The sources for the City’s water are intakes on the Willamette River. The treatment plant is a membrane treatment with ultra filtration. Sodium Hyprochlorite is added for disinfection after the membrane treatment. The contact time is achieved in a 3.0 million gallon reservoir that also doubles as a clear well. Water is then fed from the reservoir to a booster pump station and distribution to the system. Mike Howard contacted HBH to perform a contact tracer study-- I met with operator to develop methodology for tracer testing. I corresponded with DWP to verify validity of methodology. I performed contact tracer data collection and completed contact tracer report. Submitted completed report to the city and DWP. ACTION NEEDED: None needed at this time. | ||
