| Details: | SUMMARY: CT Tracer Study DETAILS: The City owns and operates a surface water system that provides water to 9,540 people through 3,500 connections. Water from Abiqua and Silver Creeks is treated by a conventional water treatment plant prior to disinfection with Sodium Hypochlorite. HBH was contacted by Steve Starner to provide assistance with a contact tracer study to determine the amount of contact time in the reservoirs before the first user. The tracer testing is complicated by the current lack of a delivery meter following the contact reservoir. I composed methodology for the study which included a determination of proper test flows and submitted methodology to DWP for approval. ACTION NEEDED: Perform tracer testing. | ||
