| Details: | SUMMARY: Compliance with Groundwater Rule DETAILS: This system has a domestic water system consisting of a single well serving 100 people through 46 connections. The well water is chlorinated and runs through a UV system that has not been approved for the inactivation of viruses. The system has positive coliform results in their source water. The well samples also tested positive for E Coli. The EPA Groundwater Rule mandates that corrective actions are taken to either fix the source of the problem, or provide for 4 log treatment of the viruses that would be associated with positive e Coli results. I corresponded with Cary Dawson regarding construction of the underground pressure piping and discussed possible requirements for plan review and county permits.
