Details:	SUMMARY: Cracked Spring Box Investigation DETAILS: The Oak Grove Water Company owns a community water system west of the City of Hood River. The water system serves 315 people through 124 connections. The source of the water is a spring which has a concrete, tunnel-type spring box. The infiltration portion of the spring was rehabilitated in the 1990s, but the spring box has not been repaired. An inspection of the box revealed some degradation, although there have been no structural failures. HBH was contacted by David Stohlhand to provide assistance with cracking that is occurring in the spring box. I visited the water system to look at spring box, along with the slope that is resting on the box. Discussed maintenance issues with water system board members. ACTION NEEDED: Complete recommendations report.
