| Details: | SUMMARY: Ct Tracer Study DETAILS: The City owns and operates a surface water system that provides water to 4,200 people through 1,800 connections. Water from Rink Creek and the Coquille River is treated by a convention water treatment plant prior to disinfection with sodium Hypochlorite. HBH was contacted by DWP to provide assistance with a contact tracer study to determine the amount of contact time in the reservoirs before the first user. Complicating this study is the determination of the actual first user as water leaving the treatment plant flows to four different locations. I completed Contact Tracer Study report. Submitted report to the City and DWP. I Corresponded with DWP staff and city regarding possibility of discontinuing practices of prechlorination. ACTION NEEDED: None needed at this time. | ||
