Details:	SUMMARY: Bacteria Monitoring DETAILS: I wrote a letter to Mark and Mary regarding a violation re: routine bacteria testing. Explaining that they need to test their system, reminding them that they have missed reporting results from a routine bacteria testing for the second quarter. Drinking water rules require that a system such as the one at their facility, test for bacteria quarterly and report the results to the DHS drinking Water Program office in Portland by the tenth of each following month. I told then that in order to correct this violation they will need to perform a routine bacteria test as soon as possible and submit results to DHS in Portland. They will also need to post a PUBLIC NOTICE at the clubhouse informing any users of the failure to test and or report. I have enclosed a copy of a public notice that they may use, or use as a template. I instructed them that is they did perform the test to submit it as soon as possible to gain credit for the testing, that the PUBLIC NOTICE requirement must still be met. Quarter are: first quarter…Jan1 to March 31, second quarter…April 1 to June 30, third quarter…July 1 to Sept. 30, fourth quarter…Oct1 to Dec 31 Send the results by the 10th of each month. A system like yours has a simple monitoring regime. If they have any questions to call me at 247-3254. ACTION NEEDED: Waiting to see if they do a routine bacteria test.
