Details: SUMMARY: Alert Investigation LCRE 10375 CHEM 3677 DETAILS: Site visit system operator Ray Todd. System had exceeded the copper action level on the lst round of tap samples taken in June 2010. Met wioth Ray at system. The intent of the visit was to verify pH readings. The operators meter and my mter were calibrated using new standards during the meeting. The system has a mystery pH reading problem. The readings at the operators house are 7.4. This was confirmed by my pH meter. We went to other sites on the property and tested three other sample sites. The results are: Mike Crane residence - 6.6pH, Dennis Smart residence -6.6pH, Dave Allen Daughters house - 6.8 pH, Ray Todd residence - 7.4pH. ACTION NEEDED: Operator will increase soda ash injection to increase pH to 7.8. Operator will contact me when done. Tap samples will commence when pH is 7.8. Also…sample site change form submitted.
