| Details: | SUMMARY: CHEM4295 --- The arsenic sample collected on 08/02/10 tested over the MCL. DETAILS: 08/09/10 --- I collected arsenic samples at the entry point and at Wells #1 and #2 on 08/02/10. This alert pertains to the results at Well #1 (0.024ppm) and at the entry point (0.027ppm). The DWP has been and is considering enforcement action against this water system for arsenic related issues possibly including: failing to monitor for system arsenic, failing to submit public notices and failing to install a treatment system. ACTION NEEDED: This water system needs to comply with DWP requirements which have been made aware of this via letter, telephone call and possibly in the future, an administrative order. | ||
