| Details: | SUMMARY: Alert for TC+ routine sample. DETAILS: Called Tim Bednar regarding routine sample, collected on September 2, 2010, which tested positive for Total Coliform. Tim indicated that the positive sample was most likely the result of repairs, conducted days prior to sample collection, to a leaking pipe near the well head. Tim was informed that the distribution system should have been shock chlorinated and flushed after the repairs were conducted. ACTION NEEDED: Collect four repeat samples (1 upstream, 1 downstream, 1 at the TC+ location and 1 at the well). If the repeat samples test absent for coliform then 5 temporary routines will need to be collected the following month in October. | ||
