| Details: | Steve Rolston contacted me on 9/15/2020 around 3 pm. Perrydale received a positive coliform sample(s). Steve is concerned that the reason the samples came back positive was due to the poor air quality and was hoping to get a 24 hour extension on the repeat samples to allow the air quality to clear up. On 9/16/2020 at 9:11 AM I emailed Steve Rolston and Steve Caldwell. I stated that since there are two coliform positive samples within the same month, a level 1 investigation was triggered. I informed them that a letter will be generated and sent to them and that they have 30 days from the date the investigation was triggered to complete the form which I attached in the email. Additionally, I informed them that if repeat samples were not collected, a violation would not be generated but they would still need to collect source samples from every source that was active at the time the RT coliform samples were taken. Steve Rolston stated in a follow up email that SRC-DC – Reimer Well #4, SRC-EA-Walker Well #W1, and SRC-BC-Radley well(s) were not active during the time RT coliform samples were taken. Perrydale will only be taking a total of 7 source samples. Sent an email to DMCE on 9/16/2020 at 1:36 PM to inform them about the wells that were not active during RT coliform samples. |
