Details: SUMMARY: Repeat distribution + E. coli, triggered source sample (Non-alert) + coliform, 1 of the 3 repeat samples submitted the day after set of repeats were taken + COLI DETAILS: Alert COLI8011 also. Mr. Gebhart did not have a complete set of five sample containers when the original routine distribution sample was returned positive of E. coli. A triggered source and a sample at the original site were submitted first. The original sample site returned E. coli positive and the triggered source sample returned positive for coliform. One of three repeat distribution samples submitted on 08/05/10 was positive for coliform. I consulted with Amy Parmenter about the results. A boil water notice was submitted on 08/09/10 which returned negative for bacteria. The boil water notice was lifted and Mr. Gebhart was supplied with a distribution line repair/disinfection guidance document. The system chlorinates and has UV for disinfection. ACTION NEEDED: Wait for the results of five temporary routine samples to be submitted in September.
