| Details: | SUMMARY: Three Repeat and one source sample positive for Total Coliform. DETAILS: Received alert on 08/05/10, called system that afternoon regarding the four repeats that all came back positive for coliform. Janelle has already been in communication with the other users of the water system regarding the situation. She is working with her maintenance personnel and will shock chlorinate the well and distribution system on Friday night 08/06/10 (and allow to stand overnight). She had been supplied a copy of Tier II public notice and will provide public notice (she has thirty days but will provide by the weekend). Notice will remain intact until situation resolved and next round of sampling comes back clean. ACTION NEEDED: Take five routine samples on September 2010. Post public notice for MCL TCR. Shock chlorinate well system. | ||
