| Details: | SUMMARY: Response to complaint DETAILS: James called on 9/15/10 to complain about discoloration of water from his store and eye pain. He recently bought store in March 2010. He took two samples in June & July 2010 which were positive for coliform bacteria. He could not produce results, nor indicate if positive for E. Coli or just total. After coordinating with Sarah Schwab with Or Dept of Agriculture, she stated that ODA had issued a Cease & Desist order based on the verbal reporting of coliform positive results earlier this summer, prohibiting use of water for soda, coffee, etc. Store only to sell dry goods. ODA to inspect store next week to inquire about results and inspect well. ACTION NEEDED: I asked to Sarah to update SDWIS as time permits to indicate system is chlorinating. Currently no treatment is shown. DWP to provide support to ODA as ODA visits system to resolve complaint. | ||
