| Details: | SUMMARY: Response to Repeat Total Positive DETAILS: I spoke to Joe about routine on 9/16, and repeat on 9/17 both taken at 32893 Peak Ave, and returning total coliform positive. Joe indicated that sample tap was not representative of water quality in distribution system, as hose was connected and was located higher than tap, causing stagnant water to flow back into tap. Repeats on both sides and triggered well samples at active wells 2 and 3 were absent. I indicated that very unlikely that coliform is limited to local area, and that positive not likely related to system quality. I requested sample invalidation for both of DMCE, and resulting violation and public notice (tier 2). ACTION NEEDED: James will follow up with City and note for file to follow up request. City to remove location from sampling plan, and be sure that required seven routines are taken in September. | ||
