Martin informed REHS that problems with pressure first surfaced on Thursday, 09/02/10 in the afternoon and his son was soon driving roads to look for presumed leak in the distribution system. Late Friday, 09/03/10 with no leaks found in the distribution system the storage reservoir was looked into and found to be empty of water. Problem was then diagnosed to be faulty pump in the infiltration gallery and work commenced early Saturday morning, 09/04/10 to repair problem. REHS discussed situation of users not being notified of problem or that work had commenced to try and fix the problem. ACTION NEEDED: Visit Water System to establish that pressure is above 20 psi. |
