| Details: | SUMMARY: Bear Creek Hideout Water Outage. DETAILS: REHS received email complaint on 09/14/10 1940 regarding loss of pressure and several days with no water. REHS contacted Karen 09/15/10 0650 that water system operator would be called when office was reached. Karen emailed back stating that contacting Betty Carter was a waste of time and what was the hold-up in forcing her to fix the problem. REHS emailed her back that government can be slow and this can be attributed to being bound by Statutory Law. Informed her that as a County REHS, I have the power to document and respond to complaints and would be out at 1330 to measure and record water pressure. Water pressure measured at 1330 and recorded at 32-34 psi. Gave her and her husband a water pressure meter to record and email pressure drops. Accessed her home computer and showed her how to access SDWIS and to view the Administrative Orders already issued on the water system. Suggested contacting other users on the system via Lincoln County Assessors office online records to establish a community contact sheet and to use this in sharing information regarding the water system.
