Details: SUMMARY: Bear Creek Hideout Water Outage DETAILS: Lincoln County Communicable Disease Nurse, Debbie Spicer, received phone call from Mike Kubler with OERS regarding a water outage for Bear Creek Hideout PWS at 1130 am on 09/05/10. Bear Creek Hideout was without water since the previous morning as reported by a resident, Michael Ross (541) 994-2236, who lives on the system. CD Nurse tried reaching Betty Carter, the water system operator, at phone (541) 994-4863 and (541) 992-3066 but could not leave a message due to a full mailbox. At 1213 pm CD Nurse received phone call from Mike Kubler with contact information for Dave Leland with the DWP, whom she called at 1225 pm at telephone number (503) 704-1174. Dave informed CD Nurse that water system had employees working on the problem which was relayed to be multiple leaks on the system. At 1235 pm MIKE ROSS phoned that water system was being worked on with no estimate of correction time. Health Officer for Lincoln County, Dr. David Long was phoned at 1240 pm and made aware of the problem. Environmental Health Specialists for Lincoln County, Amy Chapman and Neil Jensen, were phoned for consultation on the problem. ACTION NEEDED: Visit water system 09/07/10.
