| Details: | SUMMARY: business closing - population drop DETAILS: The system received an e. Coli alert on 9/30/10. I spoke with Dave Turner about the positive. I also spoke with Dave Tanzey later that afternoon. I told him to make sure there was a chlorine residual in town and to check the cistern. The system had a line break earlier in the week that could explain the positive result. I had tried calling the week of 10/4 to see if the repeat samples had been collected and finally reached Dave on 10/8 and he said they have closed the tavern down. No additional samples have been collected. There are still a few houses being served by the water system but the connections are now below the minimum. ACTION NEEDED: If the tavern reopens, the system will be revisited on this issue. | ||
