Details: SUMMARY: A monthly source sample collected at SRC-AB on 07/07/10 tested positive for E.coli DETAILS: 07/13/10---The follow up to the recent E.coli positive sample collected from the distribution system at Cobblestone revealed that a source sample also tested positive for E.coli-- however, an alert was not issued until I inquired to Daniel Hough (DWP) about the delay. Daniel informed me that , apparently laboratories are not required to report E.coli source positive results with in the same short time frame the E. coli distribution positive samples results must be reported in. Despite that, Neilson Research did send the results to the DWP today and the DWP issued an Alert today. Daniel Houghs contact with the water system operator, five confirmation samples from SRC-AB were to be collected today. 07/16/10---I spoke with Duane McCoy today: He has not collected repeat samples, has lifted the "boil water" notice without approval from our office or the DWP, and has apparently, only collected four of five source confirmation samples. I told Duane to collect four repeat samples from distribution system today, collect the fifth source confirmation sample, and to reinstate the boil water notice. 07/16/10 -- The park owner in Andi Cook": 541-840-2481 07/19/10---Per Alec at Neilson Research four repeat samples collected on 07/16/10 tested negative. 07/19/10---I spoke with Andi Cook and told her she could lift the boil water notice and to collect five temporary routines from the distribution system an August. ACTION NEEDED: Five temporary routines need to be collected from the distribution system in August.
