| Details: | SUMMARY: ALERT ID: CHEM4348 DETAILS: I CALLED Al regarding the TCE detection. I informed Al to take a confirmation sample for TCE only (not full round of VOCs) and then to monitor quarterly. The WS had a detection for Benzene earlier this year and were placed on quarterly monitoring. The second test for benzene was a nondetect. Al mentioned the person who took the original test dropped the bottle cap and cleaned it with alcohol-the lab said that probably cause the detection. Benzene will remain on a quarterly monitoring schedule to be evaluated after the 4th quarter test. ACTION NEEDED: Confirmation TCE sample plus quarterly monitoring for TCE-evaluate after two quarters. | ||
