| Details: | SUMMARY: Responded to E. coli Alert DETAILS: Spoke with Judy Bedsole on Friday, September 24th. All five repeat samples were positive for E. coli. One at the source and the other four in the distribution. Judy said she was not sure why and that she had no way of knowing at the time I called. My office staff, Amy Bleekman and Cindy Reynoso emailed Judy the Public Notice template for the Boil Water Notice along with shock-chlorinating information for the source. I received a copy of the public notice from Judy by e-mail on 9/27/10. I replied back to Judy with information on checking the source and making sure vegetation was cleared so that animals could not nest around the spring box of storage tank. ACTION NEEDED: Boil Water public notice must remain posted until E. coli issue is resolved. Five additional Temporary Repeat samples due in October 23010. | ||
