| Details: | SUMMARY: Total Coliform Alerts - COLI 8422 and 8262 DETAILS: A total coliform positive routine sample was detected. The additional four repeat samples were also positive for total coliform. I spoke with the operator and he provided a public notice to all residents and visitors. Although only a Tier 2 notice was required, he chose to provide a "boil water" notice to be extra cautious. He also chlorinated the e well and will be taking special samples to verify if the problem is persisting. Five routine samples will be submitted in October. We discussed potential sources of contamination. ACTION NEEDED: Verify that fove routine samples are taken and submitted in October. | ||
