Details: SUMMARY: Lead --evels exceed 90% value. DETAILS: Water Quality Alert CHEM4370 Merlin Elementary School Met with Dave today on site to review the lead alert one more time and current action. The system is continuing to adjust their pH and is now required to maintain a pH of 7.3. On 10/04/10 the pH was at 8.2 so the system is still continuing to refine the mixture of soda ash with water and calibration rate. Also distributed to Dave several copies of the public notice and brochure to be distributed to the school community as part if the public education process as a result of the lead alert. Dave will work on getting those items distributed immediately and notify myself via e-mail when such items have been distributed. ACTION NEEDED: None at this time, continuing to monitor pH on a daily basis.
