| Details: | Greg Gossen called me to inform me that the foot valve on the cistern failed yesterday. This in turn had allowed the pipe from the pump to the cistern to go under 20psi pressure. The pump was running with no water, which broke it. The customers were notified that they would need to boil the water until necessary verifications were made by taking coliform samples. The repairs were made same day because they had an extra pump available and samples were turned in before 5. The lab expects to have an answer for them before 3:30 today, to which Greg will inform me what the results are. 9-24-20 Greg emailed me to let me know that the bacterial sample came back negative and their boil water notice was lifted. We scheduled a water system survey for later this year. |
