| Details: | SUMMARY: Spot check DETAILS: Stopped by unannounced to measure turbidity. Reading was 0.28 NTU. Discussed operators meter reading values around 0.01 and how that was not realistic. Operator is in the process of obtaining an inline turbidimeter. Operating conditions vastly improved from those observed during July visit. New media was added to pressure sand filter. Settling basin clarity was much better than in July. No sign of overdosing. Operator seems to know the issues with coagulant dose and is operating effectively. ACTION NEEDED: None | ||
