| Details: | SUMMARY: Repeat positive for sample date 10/04/10. DETAILS: Called Meg to let her know that all of the repeat samples were total coliform positive. She indicated that the property owner had been working in the water system and she felt that was likely the cause of the positives. She said that the owner would disinfect the water system over the weekend. I suggested that since the system is serving a day care that she might want to switch to bottled water until the disinfection occurs. She said that was a good idea and that she would. I also suggested that she might want to take a special sample after the disinfection to see if it eliminated the presence of coliform. I e-mailed the link for the unresolved total coliform public notice and instructions for disinfecting the system. She said that she would. I also reminded her that she will need to take five temporary routine samples for the month of October. ACTION NEEDED: Monitor follow up sampling and respond if necessary. | ||
