| Details: | SUMMARY: CT Tracer Study DETAILS: The City owns and operates a surface water system that provides water to 9,540 people through 3,500 connections. Water from Abiqua and Silver Creeks is treated by a conventional water treatment plant prior to disinfection with sodium hyprochlorite. HBH was contacted by Steve Starner to provide assistance with a contact tracer study to determine the amount of contact time in the reservoir before the first user. The tracer testing is complicated by the current lack of delivery meter following the contact reservoir. I coordinated methodology with DWP staff and the City to secure approval. ACTION NEEDED: Perform tracer testing. | ||
