| Details: | SUMMARY: Responded to repeat coliform alert DETAILS: One of the four repeat samples submitted were positive for Coliform. The end of the line sample was the only positive. Spoke with Kerry and discussed required public notice. Also suggested that he flush the end lines every quarter due to the pump possibly pulling sediment up into the system. Kerry said that he was dealing with sediment in the distribution for over a month. A sediment filter is highly recommended to avoid future Coliform positives. Kerry is meeting with the board to discuss filters and also a well driller to possibly have a camera sent down Well #1 to make sure the seal is properly sealed. ACTION NEEDED: Public notice must remain posted until Coliform issue is resolved. Five temporary routine samples required in November 2010. | ||
