Details: SUMMARY: ALERT ID: CHEM4492 DETAILS: WS has a detection of DI (2-ETHYKHEXYL) PHTHATLATE (DEHP) that is below the MCL. I called Bernie and asked him to take a confirmation sample for DEHP ASAP. I asked him where he pulled the routine SOC samples from and he mentioned the laundry room. I asked him to take the next sample right at the entry point. The WS has a waiver for SOCs to be reduced from three years to nine years and I told Bernie that I am waiting to hear from DHS DWP on how this detection will affect the waiver. ACTION NEEDED: Confirmation samples then possibly quarterly monitoring for DEHP.
