| Details: | SUMMARY: Reservoir Replacement DETAILS: System owns and operates a ground water system that provides water to 125 people through 125 connections. The water source for the system is a single well. Water is treated by an ion exchange system prior to disinfection with sodium hypochlorite. HBH was contacted by Mr Cummins to provide technical advice regarding the rehabilitation and/or replacement of the water system’s 10,000 gallon reservoir which is deteriorated. I visited system to inspect reservoir and discuss situation with Mr Cummins. I developed options for replacement of the reservoir with a new 10K gallon replacement. I also developed recommendations for upgrading to a 30K gallon reservoir, which would provide for 3 days of storage. ACTION NEEDED: Finalize recommendations report. | ||
