| Details: | SUMMARY: CT Tracer Study DETAILS: The City owns and operates a surface water system that provides water to 920 people through 450 connections. Water from Turner Creek is treated by a rapid sand filtration treatment plant prior to disinfection with sodium hypochlorite. HBH was contacted by Richard Howard to provide assistance with a contact tracer study to determine the amount of contact time with the disinfector prior to the first user. I met with Mr Howard to discuss the methodology for the completion of the contact tracer study. The study itself will need to wait on intake improvements which will be completed in early 2011. ACTION NEEDED: Determine acceptable methodology and flow. Perform tracer testing. | ||
